Maxim’s Prompt Playground provides a complete environment for creating, versioning, comparing, and deploying prompts, all without making any changes to the existing code base.
Diff View: Select any two versions and see a side-by-side diff highlighting configuration changes, message content updates, and parameter modifications. You can swap version order, navigate between changes, and share comparison URLs with your team.
Output Comparison: Compare up to five prompts (or versions) side by side in the Playground. Configure each independently with different models or parameters, run them against the same input, and compare actual outputs, latency, cost, and token counts to identify the best-performing version.
Use folders and tags to keep prompts organized as your library grows. Save experimental states as sessions, comparison sessions are marked with a badge for easy retrieval later.
Once you’ve identified the optimal version, you can deploy it directly from the UI or run bulk evaluations against test datasets before pushing to production.
